More Custom Bridal Jewelry
A recent bride requested that she wanted the earrings for her bridesmaids be all different. They were going to be carrying green hydrangeas, so we matched the earrings to the flowers!
Thanks goes out to Alexa Johnson for the photos!

Sneak Peak at a Custom Wedding Design
Here is a custom design for a friend of ours from college, which we are currently working on. We made a necklace for the mother-of-the-bride, earrings for the bride, as well as a bracelet for the bride. They wanted simple, yet elegant designs to compliment their gorgeous dresses!
This is the necklace we custom made for the mother.
She will be wearing a floor-length brown satin ball gown.
This is a dainty little bracelet composed of twisted sterling rings with coin pearls.
Coin pearls with moonstones make a darling set with the bracelet.
We love making custom designs. It's always fun to think of new ideas, and to create pieces our clients would love. Weddings especially are one of our favorites, because it's such a happy time! Brides want something unique and something that depicts their style, and we strive to provide that. More to come, soon!!

Photo Shoot!
Abilena makes it big--well... we were featured in a magazine!! A couple months back we were invited to participate in a photo shoot for "Southern Beauty." We used some custom pieces, and some which are in our current line. It was a long day, to say the least! We had no clue what all went into a "photo shoot." Luckily, we worked along side with some very talented fellow artists, and had a great time! The magazine will be on the shelf this month so check it out! Here are a few of the photos which showcased our jewelry!
These "Nekesa" earrings look stunning, don't they?! They are a part of our line, along with this necklace, which is actually 3 "Cherop" bracelets clasped together to form this bold piece!
This is one of my favorite combination of pieces! I love layering our delicate necklaces. The hammered gingko leaf necklace combined with the longer turquoise cross necklace look fabulous together. These also are in our current line. "Achieng" and "Chege".
Fun and bright! This necklace is so lovely for summer. Check it out on our website! "Miriam"
This was my favorite outfit! It was adorable, so Sarah Jessica Parker-ish! The necklace featured here is a piece we made for this shoot, but is like the bracelet "Mbuni". The earrings "John" are cute little gold discs with tiny pearls--they look perfect with this necklace. Isn't that second picture just amazing! I love it!
These funky earrings are a custom piece we made for the shoot. The gem matches her gorgeous cyrstally teal eyes, and the hammered copper has such a brilliant shine! I love these on her.

Katie's Lovely Wedding
My beautiful partner Katie Gronewald got married on Saturday, May 2 to Grant McDaniel. It was an absolutely wonderful wedding, to say the least! They had their ceremony and reception at a cute little cottage near Birmingham called the Cates House. The setting was picture perfect for their vintage garden wedding. Every detail was unique; from the vintage fabrics, gorgeous flowers, hanging birdcages, an antique truck, even adorable bird cake toppers!
Her amazing sister, Alexa Johnson, was the florist--as well as a bridesmaid! Can't get any better! The flowers were so gorgeous. I have never seen flowers like these. Peonies and poppies full in bloom--just beautiful. She lives in Seattle, Washington and it was great getting to see her and hang out because she is a blast! Make sure to take a look at the flowers in the pictures! You can also see more at http://www.fioreblossoms.com.
We custom made Katie's jewelry as well as the mothers and the bridesmaids! We will be posting more pictures soon! All around, it was such a fun day. The photographer, Shannon did a wonderful job--as you can see by the pictures. They look like they came straight out of a magazine! Check her out at http://www.mintandsage.com.
